Included in the deal are Landmark\u2019s 68 FBOs in North America and Europe, and its MRO business, <strong>as well as its fleet of 64 charter aircraft and more than 50 other\u00a0managed aircraft,<\/strong> which would give BBA its first involvement in the charter\/management\u00a0segment. \u00a0The Landmark charter fleet is\u00a0the fourth largest worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The transaction, subject to approval by regulators and company shareholders, is expected to close early next year.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_880\" style=\"width: 557px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/flightlistpro.com\/private-jet-charter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/signature-landmark.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-880\" class=\"wp-image-880 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/flightlistpro.com\/private-jet-charter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/signature-landmark.jpg?resize=547%2C269\" alt=\"\" width=\"547\" height=\"269\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/flightlistpro.com\/private-jet-charter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/signature-landmark.jpg?w=547&amp;ssl=1 547w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/flightlistpro.com\/private-jet-charter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/signature-landmark.jpg?resize=300%2C148&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 547px) 100vw, 547px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-880\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">photo courtesy AIN<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThe acquisition would enable customers to benefit from an extension of Signature\u2019s industry-leading service offering and its operational excellence across a much larger network of high-quality locations,\u201d said BBA CEO Simon Pryce. \u201cCombining Signature and Landmark Aviation also would realize significant cost synergies as well as substantial tax benefits.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Signature operates 133 FBOs in its worldwide network, and there is currently redundancy at 12 airports in the U.S. and Europe, including Washington Dulles International, Teterboro, Westchester County, Le Bourget and London Luton where the two chains compete, which could lead to some required divestiture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The entire Landmark Aviation charter fleet is available only in FlightList PRO.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>credit AIN Online<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Deal would\u00a0make the largest fixed base operator in the world.
